The main beach for Gyenesdias can be found within 800 mtrs of the Sportshouse. Here one of the best beaches in the whole of the Balaton region awaits your pleasure with a waterslide, a beach volley ball court, a place to play ball games in the water and on the beach, table-tennis and pedalboat hire are also available.

In the area of Gyenesdias you can also go fishing, sailing, cycling, target shooting, horse riding -plus archery or just discover the joys of nature with countryside walks.

Another wonderful experience is the journey by boat on the Lake Balaton from Keszthely to Badacsony where the best value in hungarian white wines can be found.

The historical town of Sumeg lies only 20kms from Gyenesdias, here you will find the largest ruined castle in the Balaton region. A must for visitors.
